#shakespeare’ssonnets

The sonnets can be considered as one of the most mysterious chapters in Shakespeare's work. It's yet unknown whom they were addressed to and what reason lay behind them.

The performance by Timofey Kulyabin, the Golden Mask 2014 laureate, is a so-called quintessense of human existence which is presented with wonder and grace. It is about the glance a person casts over their life, seeing its most significant moments. These moments are not global life changing events, but the smallest details - brief encounters, fleeting glances, occasional smiles.

But ah! thought kills me that I am not thought,
To leap large lengths of miles when thou art gone,
But that, so much of earth and water wrought,
I must attend time's leisure with my moan,
Receiving nought by elements so slow
But heavy tears, badges of either's woe.
